WHAT’S ON | SEPTEMBER
Fever 105's Cosmic Soul with Late Nite Tuff Guy, Byron The Aquarius, Victor Simonelli & More @ Bussey Building| 2nd september
Imperial Australian Disco Lord “Late Nite Tuff Guy” (LNTG) – aka Cam Bianchetti – needs little introduction. With over 30 years in the business, Cam’s knowledge of the industry, his skill as a producer, and his verve in front of a crowd have seen him produce, re-jig, re-work, edit, disco-fy and funki-fy a number of seminal disco, techno and funk tracks across the ages. With a variety of sound that would make most producers green with envy, Cam has released funk-royalty tracks like “One Nite in a Disco”, a subtle, mesmerising “Epic Journey Edit” of “Bless the Rains”, and one of the deepest tracks ever produced in “I Get Deeper”, guaranteed to blow the roof off any party.
On September 2nd, he brings his cosmic, and what many have described as “galactic groove train” vibes to the Bussey Building in Peckham for Fever 105’s Cosmic Soul party. A quirky venue, and a supreme disco lineup – led by the Captain himself – and backed by a number of notable disco selectors, make it a steal for £10 quid. Don’t miss out, and make sure you wear comfy shoes.
Lost In A Moment @ Osea Island | 10th September
Lost In A Moment returns to Osea Island on September 10th for an all day party in conjunction with UK organisers The Hydra. The remote island off the southeast coast is accessible at only 2 points of the day, during which a lucky 500 or so will be driven by coach to and from the site. Sounds pretty cool right?
Âme will be performing both their live and DJ sets and will be joined by Marcus Worgull and man of the moment Job Jobse. Innervisions teaming up with The Hydra should be a match made in heaven; tickets have re-emerged on Resident Advisor after having previously been sold out. Grab ‘em while you can.
Boundary Brighton @ Stanmer Park | 17th September
What better way to sign off the summer than at a day festival on the picturesque South Downs of Stanmer Park above the sea. The four stages are being hosted by LWE, Mixmag, Elrow and in partnership with popular local venues. Taking the best of Brighton’s creative energy there will also be a vintage fair, delicious local food and other unexpected treats! For its first year, Boundary has certainly pulled out all the stops with a star-studded line up featuring the likes of Craig David, Jungle, Groove Armada, Congo Natty and all your favourite underground heavyweights such as Seth Troxler, Gerd Janson, Jackmaster, and Joy Orbison.
Trouble Vision and Tief present Fatima Yamaha - Imaginary Lines Tour @ Oval Space | 22nd September
After two incredibly successful, sold out shows at Village Underground and The London Fields Brewery respectively, Fatima Yamaha returns to London for his third live performance in under twelve months, with thanks this time going to Trouble Vision and Tief. Widely acknowledged for his skill with a synth, his sets tend to be highly emotive and almost to the point of tear jerking, you only have last year's Boiler Room show at Dekmantel Festival to prove this. A forgotten man for a long time, it's been great to witness Bas Bron's rise to the top over the last year and much deservedly so. Responsible for 2015's RA track of the year with the mesmerisingly seductive 'What's A Girl To Do', his live performances certainly live up to expectations and provide the perfect platform to showcase his undoubtable talent.
