Deep in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside at the height of summer lies a festival full of first rate music, quirky comedy and eye catching art installations. The much talked about Noisily Festival is back for its 3rd year of madness, with an even more impressive line up. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is headlining the show along with Max Cooper and Greg Wilson, amongst others are some of our favourites: Eliphino and Low Steppa. Not to mention the notorious Real Nice takeover featuring some class acts such as Benedict Jackson, Croz and of course our very own DJ talent, a YoungOnes resident, Clive! Noisily can boast unlike other boutique festivals a wide array of genres including 'Electro, Glitch and Breaks, through to House and Disco, via the Noisily mainstay of Progressive Techno, to the considerably beefed up Psychedelic line up!'
One of the most unique festival sites in the country; 'The Wooded Playground' as it is now known as, is 'being built from materials found in the forest, so the festival fits into the landscape rather than sits on it'. Noisily carefully constructs an enchanting site that really makes it an idyllic country setting that is ever so spoiling for festival goers to go flock in. With the attention to detail being paramount prepare to find yourself in a library that is not any ordinary library but a sculpture made out of wood with comfy armchairs backed with a wallpaper of books, or ordering food from a stall hoisted up within the trees.
It is one of few festivals to feature in the Telegraph's 'ultimate guide' to festivals for 2014 and after two impeccable years we have no doubt that this third chapter will be any less of a unique experience. They've added some serious weight to their line up and have many other intriguing things in store, so we tip them to be making this year even more of a treat from every aspect!
Noisily is a wacky festival with creativity flowing and people relishing in the rolling hills of Leicestshire. Every festival goer is given the chance to immerse themselves into the intimate vibe at Noisily. If your looking to go to a friendly, fun and fine tuned festival this summer with a superb variety of music, comedy and mind boggling art then this is your one.
