Winter is coming...
Here at Y.O we are delighted that autumn is upon us, the nights are getting darker, and sunrise later. There's something about autumn and winter that spurs people to go out to clubs and be together as one, listening to the same music. Living for the weekend is a particularly strong ethos throughout the UK, but it is especially prominent here in London where we have such a strong array of clubs, new and old. With that in mind, we've decided to compile a list of clubs and nights to look forward to as a chill in the air approaches.
Formerly Plan-B, the new club seems to want to exhibit more of a community focused atmosphere. With Julio Bashmore and Ptaki kicking things off tomorrow night, this club clearly means business. Resident DJ, Jasper James, will play on Saturday nights and other highlights include DJ Sneak, Gilles Peterson and Kenny Dope.
Tim Sweeney brings over DJ Sprinkles from across the pond to collaborate with two of most prolific teams in London at the Bussey Building in Peckham.
With even more exceptional line-ups than usual, the mecca of London clubbing has never been a better place to be. Nina Kraviz, Tama Sumo, Surgeon, Kerri Chandler, Daniel Avery and Roman Flugel are all set to plunge into the depths of Farringdon.
Home to nights such as Find Me In The Dark, Tessellate, and Cs13, Corsica Studios has been the long-term girlfriend of South London heads. Our pick would be the so far, unannounced line up for the Tief x Trouble Vision New Year's party.
